The hound turned upon hearing another, a felineish hound. He snorted alittle turning so that he faced him.
"Greetings. I have come to answer your call."
"Ahhhhhh, and whom might you be?" He asked sniffing alittle more, his ears keeping alert of the things around him. This hellion smelled of blood and death, he seemed like someone who could prove to be useful to the growing army, maybe an assassin or something of the like.

((It's alright. ^^))
The large mutated wolf turned to face Sabre. Though the Right-Hand-Man looked tough, Sabre didn't show a sign of being scared of him. They were all demons; scary, devilish looking beasts that seemed to have come from the depths of hell. However, Sabre saw no hostility in the long-fanged canine's body language.
"Ahhhhhh, and whom might you be?"
"Sabre, Sir." Came the short response. He wasn't one to talk much. And he wasn't one to waste time. No, he was short and to the point. And if they didn't like well, that was their problem. Because Sabre wasn't about to start becoming an annoying chatter box.
His twin tails swirled back and forth, an eerie breeze flowing against the former grey wolf. Though he looked canine in body, his skeleton had indeed become a bit more catlike.
His eyes went to Scarr, the white pelted, bulky male. They had changed. Rather than a brilliant crimson, they shone brown. One might've stared, but the change was so subtle, so smooth. Sabre awaited the large canine's response.
((Sorry it's short. Gotta go.))

"Sabre, Sir."
"So you wish to join the P4 army I assume?" Scarr asked with a slight grin on his face, as a he sat calmly infront of the male obvioulsy coming up with a good test for him. "What is your reason?" He asked. "Revenge, curiousity, seeking Refuge or did you just want to fight?" He asked.

"So you wish to join the P4 army I assume?"
That was obvious. Why else would the hellion have shown up? He certainly didn't show up for tea, or to shoot the breeze. Sabre shifted his weight on his paws, and glanced at Scarr. There was a hideous grin on the white canine's features. Sabre blinked blankly.
"What is your reason? Revenge, curiousity, seeking Refuge or did you just want to fight?"
"Revenge. Refuge. Battle. That's what I want. They deserve to die for what they've done." Sabre said, his voice level and calm. However, his eyes melted into a fiery color, his fangs glimmering in the light. "And, no other pack will take me for what I am. Why not join a group that consists of fellow hellhounds?" He flicked his tail.
Sabre knew this was some sort of test. It was always a test to see if you were 'good enough' to join something. He knew he was good enough to join P4. He knew he was capable of a lot of things.

"Revenge. Refuge. Battle. That's what I want. They deserve to die for what they've done."
He thought silently of Sabre's reasons. "You would make a perfect member. I don't think you'll need to much testing." He said. He was quite impressed, unsure of xactly how he could test in the open like this for what he had planned for the hellion.
"Alright, you may join us for now." He answered, he had plans for this hound however, but he wanted to discuss the matter with Dom and Jigg.

There was a pause. Scarr was thinking, pondering over what had come from the shadowy hellhound. Sabre didn't urge him. Scarr had all the time in the world to decide what to do.
He didn't hold his breath. He had learned not to get his hopes up. After being captured, he was used to rejection, failure, and cruel comments about his appearance. Pain was everywhere, mentally especially. However, he didn't show it.
"You would make a perfect member. I don't think you'll need to much testing."
Sabre knew Scarr had something planned. That gleam was in his eye. However, Sabre merely nodded.
"Alright, you may join us for now."
The ebony male felt his lips curl up in a slight smirk. He was in. At last. "Yes, Sir. Thank you for your time." He added, his voice still calm and collected. Turning, Sabre padded off silently, twin tails swaying mysteriously as he went.
He hadn't the foggiest what Scarr had planned for him. But he was ready. He was always ready.

A howl echoed through the forest, spreading the sickening song of calling for new members. The beast paused mid-step and listened. Ears flattened, ears rose, the creature waited until the cry had ceased. It waited until the echo was gone, and then it slowly turned around. The metal paw creaked and groaned, little puffs of steam escaping from the joints as it rumbled. Once the beast stopped, it ceased all movement. There were replying howls and roars filling the air. Felines and other canines were joining up and racing toward the source. The beast looked at itself before nodding. Cerberus would join up in the cry, the song. She would race until she found the singer and tell them she was worthy.
The right head rose from its lowered position. It's neck arched elegantly while massive jaws, once made to hunt lions, slowly spread. A high and sweet howl escaped her. It slowly rose into a crescendo, mingling with the song of the lefts, whose was deep and guttural. Then Cerberus lowered its heads and began the slow trek to the source. Powerful limbs took cautious steps as the beast lumbered forth. Run, run run, the minds thought. The body shifted beneath their commands, quickening to a trot. Run, run run, and the body was moving. The legs stretched out as far as they could before curling beneath the massive body. They stretched out again and the paws slapped heavily against the ground.
The run was jagged and jarring. It looked as if the beast did not know which foot went first. It was, however, managing to keep upright. The beast tossed its heads, the silver and red manes swishing and swaying like a horse's mane. Two tails stretched out like black banners, aiding the clumsy beast with balancing itself. Voices! Two pairs of ears rose and perked at the welcoming sound. The right thought of going faster, and that's when everything went wrong. A paw got out of step and tangled with its metal counterpart. The beast fell with a cry of outrage and surprise. Its massive weight send it flying, rolling and skidding until it came before Scarr. The left curled its lips and looked to the right in disdain. The right flattened its ears. It took a few moments, but the beast finally managed to get up.
"We are Cerberus.. we would like to join," The heads said in unison.

The air drifting through the hellhound's ears was as quiet as the dead. No thoughts filled them; she was merely a corpse, trotting along to nowhere through the thick jungle. Occasionally, the odd one would flutter through, but would soon be crushed beneath the silence.
"Where are you off to?"
No answer.
"You're not doing to let those humans get away with what they did to your body, are you?"
Nothing.
Presently, the silence was shattered by a piercing howl, which rang like a bell of beckoning to the tattered dog. There was something abaout it.. an air of importance, of comeradity, of a raging hate and yet noble. She cocked her ears at the sound, eyes widening.
It called to her.
She broke into a new gate, still a pitiful trot but quickened with a dash of urgency. Josephien wondered what could make such a cry as she crashed through the jungle. The long claws on her right forepaw caught on a woody root, and she stumbled to the ground. Glancing back with her cold red eyes, she saw that the talons had exposed the soft white flesh within the wood. Inner softness was something she had cast aside long ago. The hellhound staggered back up to her paws, clawing at the thick root of the tree for support. Once this little "feat" was achieved, she continued her shuffle through the leaves until she poked her head through a rather agressive clump of leaves and saw the rest of the canines.
Josephine was taken aback. She was amazed that all of these beasts managed to get out of the human's filthy labs and all the way out here. Such a large number placed a bit of hope in her heart. Maybe her brothers and sisters had managed to escape, too..? The little voice came back, telling her that it was foolish, and that they had most likely been murdered by the men. Josephine saw what had become of them, twisted monsters the lot, and several of her siblings all but entirely lost the will to live.
They were weak, it said...
She growled at the little voice, mentally telling it to shut up about such things and that what was done was done. She snapped back to reality and straightened her neck, getting a good view of Scarr, Cerberus, and the other recruits. What monsters! The hellhounds were the stuff of nightmares, and yet she was numb to the sight from the labs. Seeing strange, disturbed creatures daily was as normal as seeing a "pure" dog to her. Still, they could survive out here, and that was what mattered.
Josephine cautiously walked forward towards the massive white hellhound, head lowered and tail dragging along on the ground, unusual for her. Her voice escaped her throat in a low, serious tone, ridden with formality.
"M-my name's Josephine, sir. I'd like t' join yor clan."

Large head looked down at the two or three newest creatures to appear. So many were here, Jiggsaw would be very pleased with such things. One an odd creature with two heads and another hond.
"We are Cerberus.. we would like to join," "M-my name's Josephine, sir. I'd like t' join yor clan."
"Why is it that you wish to join this army?" He asked the two as he normally would for anyone else. He stood tall looking down with his one good eye, the thick metal collar clanged with every movement and was alittle distracting.
"Did you come for revenge? Or is there more?" He inquired.

"Did you come for revenge? Or is there more?"
Josie kept her head low, yet made eye contact with the fearsome beast. It was strange, speaking to another after those long years of self-chosen solitude and pain.
"Wit' all due respect, sir, does 'ne really need a reas'n to join wit' such a fearsome army as this?"
The hound paused, shrugging her shoulders just a bit and hiking her head up. Her long tail swished nervously as her eyes darted from side to side.
"But if'fn I need a reason, it was ter perhaps kill the humans that shaped this beast wot stands afore yer. They.. They've got no reason ter live after wot they did. We didn't do nothin' ter 'em, and yet they dare ter do this... In the name of wot they call science!!" A deep growl escaped Josephine's throat as she arched her neck like an impatient horse. Foam and drool had begun to slide down her lower jaw, and she shook and bobbed her head in an attempt to clean her face. "Satan 'imself knows why they wan' ter do this ter us. As if their filthy species needed any more help in livin' just ter wreck th' lives f' others.." Josephine paused, growling. She lifted her head up in an almost aggressive manner, looking Scarr in the eye.
"Pray is wishin' fer the taste of human blood 'n my mouth reason 'nuff, sir?"

He carefully listened to her words and her show of anger, rage, and hate. "I see." He said. "And what if you come across others like us who serve the humans?" He asked. He remembered hearing about creatures that the humans were making to defend against the hounds, he wasn't to sure if this was true however so he didn't tell everyone the details yet.
"Will you fight just as hard, or will you try and help them?" He asked setting most of his attention on Josephine now instead of Cerberus.

"Kill them, o' course," she hissed, calmer now. "Tear out their throats, rip their eyes out, bash their heads in! Any creat'ure who'd denounce 'is pride as a canine 'n serve th' humans merits bein' one 'm'selves." She could faintly remember dogs outside of cages, normal dogs without any sort of human-inflicted scars. Dull beasts, they were. If a hellhound barked too loudly, snapped at a scientist too closely, or talked of being free, the gaurd dogs were there to bark back, snap too closely for the hellhound's comfort, and overhear their conversations. Annoying, troublesome, dumb beasts. Any dog that served humans in that way could only have been brainwashed, she decided.

Scarr smiled at this. "Alright then..." He said. With that he leapt at her, jaws open wide to attack this newcomer. He wanted to see how she would react if anyone was to prove themselves a traitor among the ranks. He aimed for her shoulder to knock her over at best.

Josie balked, staring at the lunging Scarr. She took a heavy jump backwards, trying to think fast. She told herself that her attacker was looking to evaluate her, not hurt her, not kill her. And as such, she'd better give him what he wanted.
The white hellwolf's attack had hit its mark, and Josephine was knowked to the ground. She ground her claws into the earth to skid, and retaliated with a similar leap. It was a high jump, with hooked claws extended. The hellhound hoped that they would catch on Scarr's thick white fur, and from there she could get a grip with her jaws and claw at his back.

Scarr quickly leap to the side and before she could land, he lundged again, this time pushing his shoulder into hers to knock her down.
"Think." He barked trying to help her out even alittle. "A traitor would rip you to shreds if this is how you will fit back." He growled. "Don't hold back." He said, a slight grin on his face.

Josephine shook her head, ears flapping like mad.
"Well... All roight, 'n."
She crouched low, calculating the situation in her twisted brain. She certainly didn't want to kill him... That wouldn't get her off to a very good start with the leader, sould it? If he wasn't the leader already... Blinking heavily, she gripped the earth with her claws, preparing to spring again.
This time she bounded at his leg, a blur of brown, red, and black with jaws wide open. They were prepared to slam around his leg, and maybe claw at his underbelly from there.

She managed to atleast get a bite, but he twisted and turned in position to land on all four feet apparently satisfied.
"Good, you're thinking. Alittle more training and you will quickly rise among the ranks. You have been accepted."
With this he yawned and went back over to his rock to lay down and wait for more recruits to join. So far there were plenty of good recruits that could prove to be quite useful.

The hound jumped back from Scarr, eyes widening in a rare show of joy. This was great! At least now she wouldn't have to wander all alone. Even if they were just as torn, warped, and bloodthirsty as she, they were now her fellows, her comerads. She was not one for talking and chattering amongst others, but at least being with them was comforting to her.
Josephien straightened up, bowing her head with a quick yet formal muttering of "Sir,", and trotted, nigh on prancing, off to search for a cozy, nearby place where she could sleep. Her tail wavered up-and-down instead of its usual side-to-side as she approached a rather large banyan tree(This is a jungle, not a forest, right), nestling in between a pair of the high roots. With a contented sigh, she closed her eyes, praying that the frightening night terrors wouldn't bother her tonight.
