Sage gave a sigh and walked therough the ruins. She shook her black adn red pelt as she looked over the sad, quiet decaying ruins. She gave a yawn and laied down, embrasing the silence as it over took her.

"This place is so depressing..."
Heavy spotted paws trodded mindlessly across the wind-swept area, carefully navigating the many cracks and crevices in the heavy concrete ruins to avoid landing on something dangerous like a piece of glass or a rusted nail. Who the wolf dog was talking to was unknown and unimportant, since as far as he was aware, he was alone in this godforsaken place. And why was that? He wondered to himself constantly. There were no scientists here, no food to be pillaged and no lives to destroy. This place was a memory, a moment in time held forever in the frozen land of the forever forgotten. No one dared to cross the torturous landscape, to race across the cement and dodge the many poles and beams that jutted out at you from the shadows. This place was vicious, was dangerous and, most importantly, it was needlessly depressing.
Why would anyone bother to be here? And yet, there he was, a young wolf domestic dog cross breed, standing a top the tallest cement pile, crimson gaze scouring the dusted area in a satisfied fashion. He had a habit of enjoying places created for the misery of others. If only the lord Jiggsaw had left the building intact. Daring to grin in his typical sadistic fashion, Nefarious leapt from the top of the debris pile, hitting the ground with a light but dusted thud, shaking out his disheveled white pelt for a moment before taking a glance to his left.
There was another creature hidden in the shadows of the ruin, laying in the midst of the former lab's terror and despair. Though he could not see her face, her scent was all but misleading. She was certainly a female... and the male dog was immediately interested for more than one reason. Flicking his right ear mischievously, he dared to speak again, this time in her direction specifically.
"Nice day."
He spoke sarcastically, the harsh morning winds whipping through the long black locks that fell over his face, moving about the shadows cast by what little sunlight managed to shine through the darkly clouded skies. Well, at least he thought it was a nice day...

Sage emeditly got up and growled, her red eyes glareing at the brute that had come up behind her without any warning. She shook her pelt and looked him up and down. She sat down, her questioning eyes never leaving the brute infront of her. She looked up and yawned slightly, she shrugged slightly and laied down again, already bord with the new brute

The wolfdog seemed a bit flustered to be growled at, visibly flinching at the threatening sound in an almost cowardly manner. But the sharp grin the spread across his snowy white muzzle made it overly apparent that his reaction was merely for show. He was not afraid of this deformed little lab rat. But, being unafraid and being disinterested are two totally different things and the hybrid continued his dainty approach without hesitation, raising one paw to his chest in a dramatic manner, as if offended.
"My my, aren't we the crabby one?"
Clambering over a particular piece of cement, the domestic dog took a seat next to the female hound, watching her in a curious yet understanding fashion from beneath his disheveled locks. From what he could see, she had nothing of value. No chains, no tags or emblems, no jewelry or piercings he could snatch. Therefore, he had no reason to be here... yet he stayed regardless, one ear flicked backward in an almost taunting fashion. He could find a reason to be there...
"Forgive me if I'm interrupting something... important, but I couldn't help wondering why such a delicate being such as yourself would dare wander such a disastrous landscape all alone."

(She's a dire wolf hun)
Sage looked up at him and gave a small snort, danty wasn't a word for her. She rolled her eyes and gave a yawn "It was quiet until you came along" she said in a bord tone beheith her smooth voice. She looked him up and down again, she wasn't the one to sit next to this close when you just meet her. She looked back at him and her eyes told him to move over.

((Whoops. ^^; My bad...))
The wolf dog seemed unphased by the female's cold demeanor. Since when has someone else's hostility kept him from having a tick of fun? pretending to find something out on the horizon more interesting than the dire wolf, crimson gaze wandered into the distance, as if studying the foggy skies through the dusty air. However, one overly pointed ear remained tilted in the fae's direction, a smooth grin still decorating the dog elongated face.
"Oh really? And why would a dire wolf come to the man village to find some peace and quiet? Are the chirping of mountain birds and the soft serenity of sweeping streams too loud for you?"
Being sure to keep an amused yet rather taunting tone, the wolf dog turned his gaze back on the female, deliberately staring her right in the eye as if to blatantly refuse to move. If the little girl couldn't stand having someone so close to her, she could move her weak mind elsewhere. But he was in no wrong and therefore had no incentive to remove himself from the premises.

(it happens, lol)
She gave a small growl and glared at him slightly "It was the others... They talk too much" she said and twitched her tail slightly. She yawned slightly and shuddered a bit when a cool breeze came over her. She closed her eyes and listened to it, letting its thought consume her own

Crimson gaze peeked out from beneath dark locks, both eyes visible for the first time since he'd sat down, though this could be due to the directions in which the wolf dog was looking. The wind had flipped his tail involuntarily and, always on the look out for something to pester, he'd look over one shoulder to stare at the fuzzy slightly curled limb, giving it a disinterested sneer before turning about once again, resuming his mindless staring into the distance.
"Perhaps it is you who talks to little..."

Sage sighed adn opened her eyes "I haven't talked as much as I have to you to the others sense I was a pup.... I don't know-" she stoped in the middle of her sentance. She had just remembered why she had come down hear: to get away from the pack because she was in heat. She felt herself slip in and out of the intoxicating heat for a few seconds, but didn't let herself show that she was for she was inexperienced with this part of her life.

The wolf dog smirked in a smug sort of manner, one tall pointed ear swiveling around as if listening to the sounds behind him, the other pointed forward in casual alertness.
"Then I was right. It is you who talks too little..."
Pausing, he mindlessly seemed to turn his attention to a spot on his foreleg, which he licked once or twice with a pale tongue before gnawing on the area with his front teeth. When all his fussing seemed satisfactory, the stray returned to sitting up straight, his elongated head poised forward, though his crimson gaze stared off to the side in an insidiously curious fashion, pondering what could've made the female stop talking so suddenly.
"You don't know...?"
Behaving in a completely oblivious fashion to the warm scent that emanated from the dire wolf, stared innocently, waiting for her to finish her sentence as if that was all he cared about. However, his act was shattered by the ever-present grin that could not keep itself from his ragged muzzle...

Sage looked at him, her eyes clouding over, but she didn't let herself give into it "You know don't you?" she said, and flicked her black and red ear from side to side as she awaited his awnser. 'NO!!!!! DON'T LET HIM DO IT!!!!!' screamed a voice in the back of her head, but the overwhelming heat made her not listen, it just made her want what it wanted.

Raising one eyebrow hidden by the thick hair that topped his head, the wolf dog still held up his act, shaking his head 'no' innocently. He managed to deepen the facade by dropping the mischievous grin that once danced under the black spots in his stark white fur, replacing it with rather blank but calm expression.
However, it was all for mere show. He was old enough to know what a desperate female in heat looks like. He'd seen quite a few in the past and had mated with most of them. But what fun was there in simply doing what is asked of you? No, it was far more entertaining to see the dire wolf squirming under temptation, practically begging him with her scent only to be innocently rejected and taunted by the act the stray was putting on. Ah what fun indeed...

Sage gave a small snort and rolled her eyes, she could tell he knew, but he was olny acting that he didn't. She could tell that she wanted him, but she didn't at the same time, she was being torn apart, one side from her insticts: telling her to just let the heat take over, and her hear: telling her to wait, and atleast know his name befor she did anything. "I never got your name" she said and looked back at him

The wolf dog seemed confused by the dire wolf's inquiry, lifting one eyebrow and tilting his head to the side, knowing quite well that his brow was hidden by his hair. And this confusion was more heartfelt than the previous acts he'd put on. This dire wolf was obviously in a distracted form of heat. Why would she bother knowing his name? Then again, who was he to judge? Not like he'd ever been in heat...
"My name? What does my name have to do with anything?"

"I want to know your name, is that so bad?" she said and raised a brow at him, her red eyes almost glowing in scarcasm

The wolf dog met his wild cousin's sarcasm in earnest, flicking his right ear again mindlessly as his trademark grin smugly curled across his maw. Crimson gaze slid closed in a cocky manner, half curled tail flicking back and forth in amusement.
"Indeed it is. A name is needless, useless and, if anything rather annoying, a title others give to you as they see it fit. Such a system is highly flawed and many creatures end up with names they don't want."
Sitting up a bit, he waved one spotted paw toward himself, resting the tanned claws against his furred chest.
"My name is Nefarious... but that doesn't describe me much, now does it? So, I prefer Neffy."

Sage laughed slightly and shook her head at the intorduction "I'm called Sage" she said and smiled slightly, still laughing at his introduction o himself.

"Sage."
Repeating the name to himself, the wolf dog licked his jaws mindlessly, as if tasting the single syllable, before nodding, approving of the taste.
"A fine title indeed, which explains why you have no problems with asking others what they call themselves."
He paused a moment, seeming to only just notice that the dire wolf was laughing at him. Flicking his ear in what looked like annoyance, the mutt leaned forward a bit, narrowing his gaze in mock suspicion and grinning slightly in amusement.
"What's so funny?"

Sage smirked slightly adn chuckled "Oh nothing. And one question for you, how does my name sute me? I was always around a sage when I was little, but still, I'm confused" she said and cocked her head to the side

Nefarious snorted in that careless manner of his, the grin deepening on his furry muzzle as he turned his head to look elsewhere. All his attention remained on the dire wolf, but his gaze had drifted elsewhere.
"I'm not saying that it suits you. Honestly, it doesn't, since Sage is a type of plant... and you are not. However, nobody forms an opinion of you based upon your name."
