Please note! I checked with the admin & mod and this guy's approved. <3
No. 888
Name: Domnopalus
Meaning: Master of the Swamp (Latin compound)
Alias/Nicknames: Dom, Dommie (only by those who know him VERY well); Mister Master, Swamp Lord
Gender: Male
Race: Hellhorse or Swamp Beast (possibly unknown); also can be referred to as a 'wingless dragon,' called a Lindorm
Age: Unknown
Height: 19 hh (about 6.5 ft at shoulder)
Weight: Leanly built
Group: P4 Army
Rank: Advisor
Voice Type: Very deep and precise, sometimes greasy, snakelike and reptilian
Personality Type: Badass/insane/aristocratic
Personality:
With a face fixed in a permanent toothy smirk, he gives the impression of overbearing monarchy—of his domain, at least, which is the swamp. He has a twisted sense of humor; ironic, some might call it, and it has two ends: lighthearted and very dark, or else the difference between simply ‘ironic’ and the darker ‘sardonic.’ Most of the time he is rather pleasurable to be around, as he is quite gentlemanly being the creature his is, and knows his manners like nobody else. He does make quite a good sort of companion—when he’s not contemplating the destruction of his company, which will nearly always be without their knowing. He has a way about him that is aloof in a sense, being that he will let any creature ridicule him or try to prove their betterness to him, simply for the ironclad fact that he is so confident in himself and his position that he knows better than to defend it like one who feels threatened in some way. He never feels threatened. But, nonetheless he does have a temper in there somewhere, and if he gets triggered the wrong way, he will become entirely brutal and unstoppably insane. He fights in almost a seizure-like manner (perhaps as a crocodile captures its prey), his lack of control in these situations is his weakness, and if used properly he is perhaps easily captured or defeated. One is advised to stay as far away from him as possible when he appears to be going on one of these acid-trips. That is not to say he never fights honorably or ‘sanely.’ There are times when he carries on quite a sane battle most often involving a test of wits. He takes great pleasure in psychologically harming the opponent, as well as physically harming them. It would be foolish to say he is undefeatable, for even great Gods were able to be outwitted and overpowered. He indeed has his weaknesses as well, including the aforementioned one of his loss of control of himself.
As far as plying him to ‘real life’ goes, one interesting thing about him is that it seems that on many ancient carvings and scrolls (such as Celtic, Aztec, and the Ripley Scroll) there appear to be pictures of beasts similar to his looks. Mismatched creatures and several types of dragons evident in Heraldry and some medieval illustrations also have a tendency to look similar to him. In addition, there are several creatures in Cryptozoology that have some resemblance.
Domnopalus is the extension of my soul, and for 3 years yet I’ve been unable to keep my mind off him.

Lines from the Ripley Scrowle
The Bird of Hermes is my name,
Eating my wings to make me tame.
In the Sea withouten lesse,
Standeth the Bird of Hermes:
Eating his Wings variable,
And thereby maketh himself more stable;
When all his Fethers be agon,
He standeth still there as a stone;
Here is now both White and Red,
And also the Stone to quicken the dead,
All and some withouten fable,
Both hard, and nesh and malliable
Understand now well aright,
And thanke God of this sight.
