Personality:
While she may not approach them, Bonnie does not hate humans as deeply as most other Hellions do. She still maintains the will to trust them, believing that not all humans are evil and that there are certainly some out there who love animals. She is curious and occasionally overly rambunctious, but most of the time she's a mellow, sometimes air-headed dog. She does have a habit of talking Isaac's ears off, however.
Appearance:
Bonnie looks like something that was thrown together from bits of different dogs, which was mostly the case. The experiments done on her focused on limb, organ, and skin grafts, giving her a coat that resembles a Border Collie wearing a canine quilt. Check her reference picture.
She wears a thick leather collar with about 5 feet of chain attaching her to Isaac.
Strengths:
-Can be quite crafty and enterprising
-No major non-natural-ish modifications (no giant fangs or claws, wings, ect.)
Weaknesses:
-Hearing in her grafted ear (only the external part) isn't very sharp
-Mostly blind in her transplanted eye (the blue one)
-Not very big for a Hellhound
-Transplanted organs make her ill sometimes
-Skin grafts prone to splitting along the seams if they were pulled on
-Being attached to another dog, she can't hunt very well, and mostly survives on fish and carrion.
History:
Born and raised on a farm, Bonnie grew up with socialization around other dogs and other different kinds of animals, but was never really around the humans, and did not know them other than the occasional treat and pat on the head for a job well done. When she was a year old, her owners drove to town in their pickup, and they brought her along in the back. As they were in a store she napped in the bed of the truck, and when she woke up she found herself in a cage.
Over the next year she found herself losing herself, seeming to have someone else's body on hers every week. A human in the lab took a liking to the gentle, scrappy dog, and saw to it that her suffering was reduced. She was tranquilized most of the time, even while awake, so her experience was less painful than most of the others.
For the last month or so of her stay in the Labs, she was chained to a monstrous looking dog named Isaac, for "interaction observation". While she tried to be friendly, he would ignore her sullenly, so she would remain quiet and usually sleep and "do her own thing" during the observational periods.
One fateful night, the pair were being observed per usual, in a large empty room separated from the scientists by a sheet of bulletproof glass. Unfortunately for the scientists, Isaac had been observing them, and he discovered how to use his suckery tail to grasp the doorknob and open the door. The pair raced through the hallways, tripping humans unlucky enough to be in their way. In the pandemonium, he opened another door, this one to the outside, and they slipped out into the darkness, seeking out the others who had freed themselves.
