Shadows of torture

The soft sound of rain falling from the sky covered the land; small drips of rain fell from the canopy above the muddy ground. Night was upon the land as the darkening clouds shrouded the jungle in an even deeper shadow. In the shadows the sound of paw steps came, though the frames of whatever carried the paw steps were shrouded in the darkness, though their eyes pierced the darkness. Only by the light of lightning running across the sky could one see them, tall black figures riddled with scars and boned mask upon their faces, eyes flashing with the light. The red eyes belong too the smaller of the two, piercing melted within her mask glistened as she slinked forward, weaving around trees slowly but surely, only to stop and look back. Another figure who owned the grey blue eyes stalked up to the other, having the same pelt as its long claws clattered on pebbles under paw.

The two, seemingly twins, look around, circling the clearing for a pathway easier then the thick underbrush; number could be seen on their shoulders as they circled, A-316 and A-317. The larger of the two perked her head up, icy eyes burning through the shadows. “Is there no way out of this wretched jungle?!! I ask you” the large blue eyed she-wolf barked scornfully, glimmering teeth could be seen through a sneer. “Calm your scorn Fort, if we can’t find our way, then how do you think those slow humans are even going to find their way let alone find us” the smaller and hornless one spoke calmly to her sister. “Well, that old wretched dog said there would be a tribe of ones like us here, but I haven’t seen one, not one, yet. Though your right about those humans, we need not worry about them Flen” Fort said, remembering an old dog once said that a tribe, or clan lived in this jungle, ruled by the brave Jiggsaw. Flen gave her sister a kind glance before walking along into the shadows, her sister following close behind.

The King watched.

Both albino eyes were fixed ‘pon the two females, as the paused from their tracking through the hot jungle.

Is there no way out of this wretched jungle?!! I ask you.

More recruits? He blinked, his eyebrows beginning to rise. More hellions was nothing new, but what startled the leader so, was the fact that there were two of them, at once.
Usually the occaisional hellhound would wander in on its own, groveling for acceptance. But usually it was just the one.
If Jiggsaw’s thoughts were correct, by ‘there would be a tribe of ones like us here’ the calmer of the two females were looking for the army, therefore, it made sense that they must be looking for acceptance. Though they could be here for otherwise…

Slowly, swiftly, he pushed himself out of the undergrowth, careful to stay silent, and stalked the two from behind, watching their movements.
Soon he grew tired of following them, realizing they would not do much more, and spoke, in a clear, authoritive tone. “You come to P4. Why?”

The question was stern, solid and expectant. Jiggsaw, although he had calmed considerably since creating the army, had not been in the best of moods recently, what with Sadae troubling his mind, and making the new ranks…stress.

Flen look over her shoulder calmly, only to shoot a glance at her sister who looked as if she would jump at the other who came from the undergrowth. “Do not waste your energy sister; I believe there can be a compromise without blood spill…”she said calmly to her raging sister who calmed down and walked over to stand by her, tail swishing violently as she clearly disliked the fact that she could not fight. “Why should we tell you? It’s clearly not of your business knowing every little thing” Fort said scornfully, her claws held tightly at the ground a she still bared her fangs. The two sisters looked at the wolf who, if it wasn’t for the metallic leg and green marks, would look just like any other wolf. “You are no normal wolven creature, with your discoloration and a metallic limb the same as my sister, you are clearly a hell hound and your name is Jiggsaw am I correct, for we’ve heard much about you in the laboratories” Flen said in her emotionless voice, clearly if this was the great Jiggsaw they would have to be polite, which was almost impossible for her sister.

The two sisters looked at the wolf, clearly he hasn’t seen new recruits come together usually one would come alone, well he’ll soon find out they do everything together, even stand their ground, its how they lived. The many scars showed they had many experiments done upon them, along with Flens short tail, Forts metallic leg, and their spikes jutting from their sides. They both waited patiently for his reply, whatever it was.

Jiggsaw’s suddenly cold stare darted to the female that had spoken, and took a small, warning step forward toward her. “That kind of talk will get you killed, if it keeps up, missy. ”

Jiggsaw’s gaze became suddenly even colder and he took a startling snap at the other female. His eyes narrowed and his ears drew back against his skull. Then came his voice again, rough, crude and solid. “I was never, nor am I now, nor ever will be, A WOLF. ” He snarled, then looked away, keeping the direction of his hearing upon the hellions.
“Yes. I am Jiggsaw. Though I grant you no Authority to call me as such. ”

He sighed gruffly and turned, sitting and staring at each female in turn. He doubted their acceptance into the pack now, both had angered him. But there was a chance, if they good impress him enough…
“I repeat. Why are you in P4?”

Flen took a step back as her sister laughed coldly, teeth gleaming up the flashes of lightning. “Ha! Flen I know you’re the smartest of the family but that was the dumbest thing I’ve heard, he, a wolf! Obviously were half breeds also, and you should know the frame of a wolf is much larger and if it wasn’t for our small mother we would be much bigger, and while under that fur he is thinner then any wolf I’ve seen”. Fort said, as her eyes gleamed at her sister, even with her sisters small size she was still taller then any german shepard. Flen lowered herself in embarrassment, tucking her short tail under her in submission, though her sister still stood tall and proud, showing more resemblance to their mother, an over flowing ego and to proud to submit to any. With her sister starring at her she recomposed herself and took her place next to her larger sister once again, speaking in her cool voice in response. “Eksistere sordin! This is no time for your proud ego” she said sternly to her shocked sister, it was very rare for Flen to raise her voice in front of others. Regaining her composer Flen spoke again, now facing Jiggsaw “We have come to be rid of those slow and stupid humans that mess with thing beyond their knowledge” Flen said coolly to Jiggsaw, hopefully he would understand their circumstances of escaping, for if she had to go back she would surely be driven insane. The two sisters watched the angered wolf, though the only thing they had to worry about was Fort loosing her temper once again.

Jiggsaw snapped his gaze over to the other again. This was really very frustrating having to flip from one to the other as they spoke. But this one really didn’t know when to stop. “Silence!” He barked at the taller of the two.

Precicly, Jiggsaw thought. Though this female had dubbed him ‘wolf’ she had more common sense than the other. He nodded gratefully to her, before looking at them both. “You come for the Army. I presumed as much. Follow, both of you. ” He turned to walk away, before looking back at Fort, and giving her a look of utter authority over her, but not so much her sister. “You will hold your tongue, miss, until spoken to. ”

When Jiggsaw mention the word army Fort perked her head up, satisfaction leaped into her eyes as she already guessed who were going to be the poor victims. Flen, though not to fond of war, also showed rare interest that the clan was an army, bent on taking out the scientist, thinking the same exact thing as her sister s they looked at each other before they saw the grey hellhound turn to walk towards what was probably the direction to the clan. Flens fur pricked with fear at the look he gave her sister, for when someone gave her ‘the look’ she would become enraged, though at the moment she seemed quite calm. She guess even Forts overly huge ego had to take a break from shining once in awhile to her relief, maybe Fort would behave better with more eyes watching. Fort started to walk first, while Flens long limbs carried her nimbly by her sisters side, the long rings holding at the end of her short tail clinked as she walked, and she was surprised how well Fort leg was holding out in this damp weather, usually having to hobble on three legs from the metallic one short circuiting.
