Faust felt uneasy about going back to that place where he'd raped the female, yet he was not about to give up the position he'd acquired, or Jiggsaw's trust. The blue hound made up his mind that he would delver the message and an answer or die trying, and there was a good chance that the last part would come true.
At first Faust thought to leave with out a word to the pregnant female, however he promised her that he would be their for the pups. If he was going to walk on death doorstep she should know at the very least.
So he sucked up his nervousness and went to find the youngest of his harem.
At least he could settle some worry in the girl by letting her know that Jigg would not be mad about her...Situation.

The red-and-black hound in question was stretched out in the clearing near "her tree" taking a cat-nap in the largest ray of light that peered through the jungle's canopy. For once, it was a calm, dreemless sleep. But as she had grown accustomed to, it was a light one. Her powerful nose twitched as a familiar scent came wafting downwind. It was not without a hint of grumpiness that she rolled to her paws, leting out a yawn that peaked in a whine and stretching in a feline manner.
Josie sat and pulled herself ito a sharp hunch, sniffing the air for no real reason. Faust all right. But she detected something... off today. Something was up. The hound sprang forward and continued in his direction at an almost leisurely pace.
"Faust? Faust? 'S' everytin' alroight?" she called, glancing around with wide red eyes. Her tail curled and flicked about behind her anxiously.

Stepping through the bushes that blocked his way, Faust made himself visible to the female. "Everything is fine Jose. I just had to talk with Jiggsaw is all." He replied in a reassuring tone. "Though, I won't be around for a while. I have been appointed Head Messenger of P4, so I'll be away for sometime."
He didn't except the girl to mind much about that fact, and with a grunt he sat down.
"By the way, Jiggsaw knows. I suppose he will be speaking to you sooner or later."

"O-oh... Josie said almost calmly, taking an opportunity to circle him. The hound snorted slightly and shook her head off. "Wunner why he made yew messenger." she thought out loud. She stopped in front of him, nearly nose-to-nose with the taller hellhound.
"By the way, Jiggsaw knows. I suppose he will be speaking to you sooner or later."
Her eyes widened momentarily in fear. Did yew tell 'im? She was afraid of Jiggsaw. She's heard about what he'd done to Oxide, and it made her wary around her king. And she was carrying pups, but it had hardly begun to show; just a bit of swelling. "Hell's teeth, Faust, he'll kill me fer sure!" she barked out; her voice was shaking slightly.

"Hell's teeth, Faust, he'll kill me fer sure!"
"No he won't. If he's a real male, he'll show some honer and not harm you. Real men don't hurt the weak." He replied. It was more then he could say for himself. "If anyone gets killed, it'll be me."
"I honestly don't expect to live when I finish delivering the message. I've done something unforgivable. I rape someone!" He was upset now angry at himself. His eyes were watering at this point, and his breathing was irregular now. He felt so, disgusting.
"I-I couldn't stop myself..."

've done something unforgivable. I raped someone!
"Faust..." Josephine was silent. Judging by what he had said when they had first met, it appeared that Faust was quite the Casanova... But he hardly seemed the type to be capable of rape! She had heard of rape before in the Labs, whispers mainly. She gathered that it was a terrible act akin to murder, but mating was involved, and the bitch was unwilling. Humans would breed the hellhounds sometimes, or a hellhound and a normal dog. She'd never seen it, this her earlier confusion about mating, but had heard it. The howls or pain. The barks of protest. The fights that broke out. The deaths. The hound thought for a moment, analyzing this, and couldn't bring herself to speak; she tried, but merely managed a strange, tiny croaking noise.
Comfort was not something she knew how to do. No one knows it instinctively, and she had only learned hate and spite in the Labs. And for once, the quick thinker could do naught. She leaned back to all fours and backed up a step.
"You raped someone?" Rather than anger or anything of the sort, she was shocked and confused. "Who? 'N' where? 'N' why would you be killed?"

Faust swallowed seeing the females move away, good god he was hurting so bad. " It was a wolf who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. In the packland where I have to go." He explained softly, lowering his ears.
"I-I am going, not only to deliver a message but reserve my punish meant. If they don't kill me...I-I just might do it myself." This was no joke, not this time. He'd do it himself, this was Faust in his truest moment. He was broken inside.
Unconsciously his mouth bit down on his wrist, cutting it. It stung like hell, and a tear ran down his face. His cut was not meant to take his life, it was used just to snap him out of it.

" It was a wolf who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. In the packland where I have to go."
"That don't mean that their pack's gonna be wantin' some sort 'o' vengeance," she said, in a half-hearted effort to calm him.
"I-I am going, not only to deliver a message but reserve my punish meant. If they don't kill me...I-I just might do it myself."
Josie watched wide-eyed as Faust bit into his wrist, panicking in this brief moment. She let out a small bark- No words, no meaning, just a bark of warning, like a guard dog sensing a stranger in the house. She paused herself suddenly, tail dropping and dragging straight on the ground.
"I'm comin' wit' yew," she said quickly, eyes blazing and penetrating Faust's tear-red ones. "I'm not lettin' yew get 'urt." For Josephine, this was a strange offer to make. For one, she was normally the kind to say that a creature's mistakes were his own and come what may. But Faust was different. He couldn't control himself. And she felt a bond with him. It wasn't love, exactly, seeing as the two were not ridiculously affectionate and were not mates, more of a primal, basic clinging.

The blue hound's eyes widened and the fur on his neck stood up. Never before had anyone seen him like this Jose would be the first. "NO!" He yelled baring his fangs. "You will not go with me, not as you are now."
Calming down a little he pondered on what to say next, it came to him quick. "Your pregnant. Think of 'our' kids, its not fair to them. Don't bring children into this."
For some odd reason Faust actually cared about them. He hadn't even seen them and he cared.

Josie was taken aback at Faust's sudden boldness, but not afraid. She backed up a bit more and sat down, tail waving around. A smug little smirk began to creep across her fangy mouth, the corners twisting upward in grin.
If yew care 'bout our children, th'n yew wuddn't kill yerself, naow would yew?" She was by no means making light of Faust or his situation, merely stating her thoughts. "Yew wuddn't want 'em ter grow up widout a dad, naow would yew?" The coonhound lay down like some sort of macabre sphinx, eyes half-closed but bright.
"'M still early along. How far could it be? We c'n prob'ly make it there 'n' back again long 'fore I whelp. 'N' besides, any creature wit' a shred of decency wuddn't attack a female in my condition,"

"If yew care 'bout our children, th'n yew wuddn't kill yerself, naow would yew?"
He was about to make a protest to this but stopped. There was no way he was getting out of this one, and he know it. "Fine, come if you want." He grunted. 'Why are all females so rebleus...' He pondered.
"However this doesn't change my mind at all. The evil get what they deserve."

"Good," she grinned, although it wasn't a comforting win; Faust was a wreck right now and probably would be for the whole trip.
"However this doesn't change my mind at all. The evil get what they deserve."
"'T'wasn't really evil 'f yew cuddn't stop yerself." she said, hoping to reassure him, even just a touch. "When d'we leave?"
A part of her was also slightly fearful of what could happen, but the other part knew she had to protect Faust, even from himself.

"I promised Jigg I'd be back in 4 days time, so we're going now." He replied softly, standing and walking off into the woods. "You still wanna come?"
He was sure she'd say yes, much to his dismay.

"O'course," she said, almost with a snap. She followed him closely in her strange shuffle, ever wary of her talons catching on roots. This would be easy, right? After all, how hard could delivering a message be, even if it was to a pack of wolves who were out for your companion's blood? Josie mused slightly about what a wolf would look like. She's seen one or two in the Labs, before they'd been killed or mutated. The red-and-black hound sighed and gazed at Faust slightly worridly. (also short. So is this thread over?)
