I really like Jig's theme song but the lyrics don't match very well... since he's talking to a girl in the song and it seems more like a romace song than a vengeance sort of song. Though I can see why you chose it...
Perhaps we should try an instrumental song like Nightwish's Moondance or a song from Van Helsing or by Pendulum. I personally suggest Staind's Mudshovel. It's a very angry song but it starts out slow, which sort of fits our movie plot idea. Plus, the lyrics seem to fit... sort of. o.O
Cause you can feel my ANGER You can feel my pain You can feel my torment Driving me insane I can't fight these feelings they will bring you pain You can't take away Make me whole again
I feel betrayed Stuck in your ways And you rip me apart With the brutal things you say I can't deal with shit anymore I just look away
That's close right? X3

I still stand by Rob Zombie's "Superbeast"
Shriek the lips Across the ragged tongue, Convulsing together Sing violently Move the jaw Cry aloud. Bound up the dead triumphantly
The ragged they come and The ragged they kill You pray so hard on bloody knees. The ragged they come and The ragged they kill Down in the cool air I can see.
Hey, yeah - I'm the one that you wanted Hey, yeah - I'm your superbeast Hey, yeah - I'm the one that you wanted Hey, yeah - I'm your superbeast
Stir the limbs across the wrist, Full possession of memory. Bury me as a dog, Icy hands surrounding me.
<repeat the "the ragged" and "I'm your superbeast" bits for a while.
Or we could always go for a nice chilling, epic instrumental. I have some from the Hellsing soundtrack.

Now I do like that song Josie. It fits the site very well, what with the lyrics and all... but it's too fast-paced. There's no calm points, no place we can start the story. Plus, it's kind of hard to understand... and anyone who has played Test Drive will associate the site with cars instead of hellhounds (like me). X3
I think we should go with an instrumental, one that didn't play too big a role in a movie so the viewers don't associate the music with the movie it's from. So, not the Helsing main theme but maybe a side song or something...
We'll have to do some sleuthing. >.>

Another song that might be good Linkin Park - Breaking the Habit
I love that song so much...
Perhaps we should do a poll?

I suggest The Wretched by Nine Inch Nails. I haven't listened to it i a while, but here are the lyrics.
Just a reflection Just a glimpse Just a little reminder Of all the what abouts And all the might have Could have beens Another day Some other way But not another reason to continue And now youre one of us The wretched
The hopes and prays The better days The far aways Forget it
It didnt turn out the way you wanted it to, did it
Now you know This is what it feels like Now you know This is what it feels like
The clouds will part and the sky cracks open And God himself will reach his fucking arm through Just to push you down Just to hold you down Stuck in this hole with the shit and the piss And its hard to believe it could come down to this Back at the beginning Sinking Spinning And in the end We still pretend The time we spend Not knowing when Youre finally free And you could be
But it didnt turn out the way you wanted it to It didnt turn out quite the way you wanted it
Now you know This is what it feels like
You can try to stop it but it keeps on coming You can try to stop it but...

Yeah, that would be a problem if we had to voice our own characters since I sound nothing like River (though I could probably pull of Torrent if I tried hard enough). O.o But perhaps we could find some lackies to voice them for us... or we could try and avoid having the characters talking. Like I doubt any of Rivers scenes have him actually saying anything... As far as voicing characters go, what we sound like doesn't really matter because there are sound-editing programs that can change the way we sound. So what we'd do is record ourselves talking in the STYLE of our characters (how they tend to use their words; drawly or abrubt speech patterns, etc..) and then change the quality and tone color in one of these programs. I've done research into programs that are designed to change voices for real-time online talking and such. I'm sure there's one out there for files. Plus, there's always SoundForge, which I have.

That may be true Dommie but how do you know what I want River to sound like? If you don't know the voice I want for my character, how will you ever edit someone's voice to sound like him? Plus, how am I supposed to record my own voice when I don't have a microphone? All and all, I think that speech and dialouge is an unnecessary annoyance, though a creepy narrative voice over might be nice, since that's less specific and we won't have to bother with the annoyance of lip-syncing...

Hmm maybe it would be a good idea to just forget our own voicing for now. That actually sounds like a project for the "next step" (which we may or may not take anyway), which would be making an actual film. And yeah, lip-synch is MURDER on us animators. Narration would be nice though. Do we need a male voice for that, though? If so, there ARE one or two males on here, aren't there? (Possibly Toxich and Dr. Spinus/Dr. Sutherland?)
EDIT: WELL, so help me to spell these names right!! SUNDERLAND and TOXIKCH
my bad

Toxikch...I know him irl...he could help...
Though his voice doesn't suit any of my characters, maybe some of yours?

It would only be for narration, not character voices. I think we're gonna ditch that idea. If he can make his voice really deep and creepy like those movie trailer narrators, that would be awesome

Sky, you could help with reminding people who need to do Model Sheets to do them? -is working on hers-
It would be a huge help.
But if not that, maybe ask River or Dom who are like the main peoples in charge of this?

OMG I think I found our song guys. It's got really good lyrics... except like two lines, which refers to waiting for someone, but I really like the sound of the song and I can totally picture a music video type thing to go with it:
On the ground I lay Motionless in pain I can see my life flashing before my eyes Dead I fall asleep Is this all a dream Wake me up, I'm living a nightmare
I will not die (I will not die) I will survive
I will not die, I'll wait here for you I feel alive, when you're beside me I will not die, I'll wait here for you In my time of dying
On this bed I lay Losing everything I can see my life passing me by Was it all too much Or just not enough Wake me up, I'm living a nightmare
I will not die (I will not die) I will survive
I will not die, I'll wait here for you I feel alive, when you're beside me I will not die, I'll wait here for you In my time of dying
I will not die, I'll wait here for you I feel alive, when you're beside me I will not die, I'll wait here for you In my time of dying I will not die, I'll wait here for you I feel alive, when you're beside me I will not die, I'll wait here for you In my time of dying
I really like the ending to that song, like musically with the beat and everything. I picture something like the Ginga Densetsu Weed opening, when they have the character stills with the character's names and all? I think we should do something like that at the end of our promo, with all the main characters and have the final still be of a silhouetted figure with the word "You?" behind it... since we are using this to get people to join right? We should make it seem like they can get involved...

I like the GNW idea. And who sings that song? Another song I found with fitting lyrics is "Riot" by Three Days Grace... However, it was used on a commercial so it might remind people of that. If you feel so empty So used up, so let down If you feel so angry So ripped off so stepped on You're not the only one Refusing to back down You're not the only one So get up
Let's start a riot, a riot Let's start a riot Let's start a riot, a riot Let's start a riot
If you feel so filthy So dirty so fucked up If you feel so walked on So painful so pissed off You're not the only one Refusing to go down You're not the only one So get up
Let's start a riot, a riot Let's start a riot Let's start a riot, a riot Let's start a riot
If you feel so empty So used up, so let down If you feel so angry Just get up
Let's start a riot, a riot Let's start a riot Let's start a riot, a riot Let's start a riot

Three Days Grace. X3
OMG Josie, you read my mind. XD I was thinking of Riot as well, since it's a very angry song and that's kind of what this site is all about, a massive hellhound riot. ^^ I actually added both songs to the Music Player so you can check them out there.
